Minnesota appellate law attorney V. John Ella is a shareholder at the Minneapolis law firm Trepanier MacGillis Battina P.A. He has handled dozens of appeals over the course of eighteen years including cases before the Minnesota Court of Appeals, the Minnesota Supreme Court, the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Florida Court of Appeals.  V. John Ella has been named as a Minnesota “Super Lawyer” in the area of appellate law.  He is certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as an Employment Law Specialist. He is a member of the Appellate Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He was also named as the exclusive featured attorney for Minneapolis by Premier Appellate Lawyers. Mr. Ella clerked for judges in both state court and federal court. He has published over 100 articles on legal topics, several book chapters, and a book on Executive Employment Law. Mr. Ella also taught legal writing at the University of Minnesota Law School.
